medisave
I have come across a firm that is using my website in their portfolio. The problem is I have never heard of them!!! I have sent them emails asking what the hell they are doing and threatening them with legal action and their local trading standards - but im still featured on there! They are: http://www.icswebsolutions.com/ourtouch.html What else can I do??? Its really getting on my nerves! greree
Put a statement somewhere on your default page that http://www.icswebsolutions.com/ didn't have anything to do with designing your site and they're a bunch of liars and thieves. Or something to that effect. Then let them know that you put that statement on your default page. I'm pretty sure they won't have a link to your site for very long. You might also contact the other websites on that page and let them know that this company is taking credit for their web designing. I'm sure you're not the only one they did this too. And let ICS Web Solutions know you're doing that, too.

medisave
Yes I have tried that in the past. Get answer machine or a real person saying hmmm ICS Web Solutions I think they are one of our web sites. Well I just phoned them and told them and they claim that they have taken the company over and in the past they must have done some work or supplied us with services such as computer goods - eh??? Well I told em its not good enough and I wnat to be taken off today. They are looking into the matter. So will see what happens Graham Wright ________________
Guest
do the obvious! take legal action!!!! consult a lawyer, get some advice, and away you go. this is the time to start collecting all the info, copies of emails, screenshots of their site etc. even if they do remove your link, you should still be able to sue them!! Guest
I'd send them a little thank you note. Their link to your site just improved the search engine ranking of your site by a factor of 2. :) Always a bright side!
