new_products short_description on index page

Hi.

Please if anyone can help, on my osCommerce index page, at the new products. It shows underneath the pic the product name but there isn't any description under the name. My script in the includes-modules is:

 

$new_products['products_name'] . '</a><br>' . $new_products['products_short_description'] . '<br>' );

 

Is the script correct????? Please if anyone can help I appreciate it so much!!!!!!!!
