yacpro13 Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Hi there, we have a fully bilingual (French/English) store set up. We are currently typing articles in order to increase the site's content. So here's the question regarding duplicate content: Although the site is bilingual, we are only writing English articles. So let's say we have the article located in english/articleX.php, then we also have a carbon copy of this file in french/articleX.php. The only difference is on the French version, we add a line (in French) at the top of the page saying "sorry, articles are only available in English". I later realized that 98% of the French page is identical to the English. The URL's for both pages ends up being the same though, minus the "?language=fr". So is this considered Duplicate Content? Thank you. PS: while we are almost on the topic of SEO, where do you prefer to submit your articles (do you at all?) and why?
