Guest Posted March 3, 2003 Share Posted March 3, 2003 Hello I am just getting a store setup and i added a test product and info and when you are viewing the product and on the right there is the manufacturer info box with a link. When you click the companies link there its trying to go to my domain + right domain, example www.mydomain.com/www.siteitssupposedto.com what would cause that? The only thing off the default install that I changed was added Newsdesk and I did the couple known fixes with it about the missing > and the 2 define lines for the block header. mugitty Posted March 3, 2003 Share Posted March 3, 2003 If you're positive that you haven't touched catalog/redirect.php or catalog/includes/boxes/manufacturer_info.php, I would take a look at the configuration file first. With your initial page opening to a virtual subdomain (http://shop.monacopc.com/) and the rest of your site going to folder addresses (http://www.monacopc.com/shop/), there may be something in configuration that is interfering with the redirect. (I'm guessing here - I can't tell you the solution if this is it, cuz I've not tried setting it up that way) You also might try re-uploading the manufacturer_info.php file. ... if you want to REALLY see something that doesn't set up right out of the box without some tweaking, try being a Foster Parent!
