Guest Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I've been looking around the forums and trying to work out what the best practice would be to ensure downloads are secure, i.e. when a customer buys a download they only get it once the payment has been accepted by PayPal, and not if they have cancelled the payment, or the link isn't shared so others get stuff for free. I know there are a couple of add ons for downloads but I'm just not sure what to do  . All I basically want is to ensure the above. I've also looked at download protection software, like LinkLok but have no idea if it's easly useable with osc so I don't want to shell out any money if it won't work. Also I've thought of renaming the download folder but am not sure which php files might need to be amended. Has anyone got any sound advice, experience, or know of any good solutions they could share.
germ Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I haven't used it personally, but I've seen it posted that Super Download Shop will do what you want. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
