Guest Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Nigel, I would not use that contribution,it is over 2 yrs old and doesn't look like it is supported much. If I could, I would suggest one of these: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5679 http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7112 Chris

Guest Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Nigel, Unzip the package and read the instructions carefully. Make sure you create back ups of all the files and the database before you begin. Chris
pamperedpets Posted July 13, 2010 Author Posted July 13, 2010 so do i upload it to my cpanel, File manager, web root, Admin ??
Guest Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Nigel, You FOLLOW the included installation instructions. You will be asked to upload some files, and edit some of the current files to integrate the Editor into your site. There is also database changes that need to be made. Chris
pamperedpets Posted July 13, 2010 Author Posted July 13, 2010 I have read the instructions and they are probably basic but i just dont get this INSTALLATION ----------- 1. upload the files+directories in your root: catalog/admin/fckeditor/ and catalog/userfiles/ if i could get some help started im sure i could figure the rest out. Im just not sure how or where to upload to
magiana Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 In cPanel yuo probably have something called file manager or something (mine speaks swedish). Click on that. Choose webb root (public_html). Click go. Now you will see all your folders and files. In file manager you can upload files, create new folders if needed, delete or replace files, preview files, edit files, download them and so on. Backup before you install!!!
