A Question about the ordering

Hello~

 

I want to know how can I make a set up, so that when there is customer makes an order, I can receive a email for notify.

 

In our admin section

 

Configuration > My Store > Send Extra Order Emails to

You can add all the emails you want a notification sent to like this

Name 1 <your@email.com>, Name 2 <emailme@email.com>

I've never got this to work. Exactly what are we supposed to type here? I've tried with the <> and without. I've tried with a name, followed by the <> and the email address. I've tried it without. All I want to do is get the program to send me one single order confirmation to weaving@ariadnetheweaver.org and the following all failed: (tried at different times, not all together)

 

Ariadne <weaving@ariadnetheweaver.org>, <weaving@ariadnetheweaver.org>, weaving@ariadnetheweaver.org, "Ariadne" <weaving@ariadnetheweaver.org>

 

I've never received a single order email. Just the paypal confirmations. It's frustrating, and no one seems to have a definitive answer. I've searched plenty :)

 

If you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

It looks like you tried this already, but in all my stores I have just typed in the e-mail address. No quotes, no brackets. Just

sales@mystore.com

edit: possibly it is the version of your paypal module. Install the COD payment option and perform a test transaction. See if you get an e-mail then.
