Medworks Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Today some schmuck came in and put in one address to the United States and the other address in ISRAEL. Crazy. This plays hell with my modules because I have some shipping modules enabled for some zones and some billing modules enabled for some zones, and I hadn't considered that the "zone" used would be based on the country in the billing address for one and the shipping address in the other, and indeed, he chose to pay by a method he shouldn't have been allowed to use! If the shipping address isn't the same zone and the billing address, my calculations are all bad and customers can get away with screwing me over. Is there any way to make it reject orders if the billing and shipping country aren't the same? I don't even need them to be in the same state if they're both in the US, just for crying out loud they need to be in the same country.

But though preventing fraud and all that is all fine and dandy, I think it would be better if possible if I didn't have to make the addresses exactly equal. Like maybe they have to be in the same city or same zip code, maybe, since some people maybe buy stuff from their home credit card but want it shipped to their office which is nearby but a different address. Maybe I can figure out something from the code and figure out how to do it the way I want.
