Guest Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 I saw an add on for google translate, but I aslo saw on the google site that you can just copy the code for it and insert it into your web page. So I was wondering what the difference between the two is...is the add on to conveniently insert it into all of the shop pages rather than doing it by hand, or is there something else too? Quote

No replies...okay, well in case someone else would like to know, I used the google code and it seems to work superbly! It gives a fantastic range of languages and even tells you on their site that you can use it on SSL pages. It was really simple to insert the code. I'm using on a test site at the moment, will update this post if something doesn't work on the live site:) Edited July 19, 2010 by Dali45 Quote
yadetar Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Hello Dali45, (or somebody else) Could you please give me the information, where to put the Google code? I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance! BR Yadetar Quote

Hi I don't know how Dali45 incorporated it but I created a new box using Generic Box for 2.3.x called it Translate Box then just copy and pasted the Google code from HERE into it. Works a treat. I am trying to work out how to create some code so the Select Language drop down blends with my site. Helen Quote
