Solan Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Hi I installed a langugae wich is coded in utf-8 so therefore i wonder if its possible to change that to iso-8859-1? I´ve located the // charset for web pages and emails in both catalog/includes/language/finnish.php and admin/includes/languages/finnish.php But its not enough to change in there.. where else must i edit? Regards
Solan Posted July 11, 2010 Author Posted July 11, 2010 hi again :) Still working on this.. i would be so happy to know how to solve this cus every other language i´ve installed is iso-8859-1 Since this language is in utf-8 some of the text doesnt show correct.

But if you are on Windows you would have to install Linux command tools to get that working. Or perhaps you can find a good text editor that can save the file back as an iso-8859-1 file (again on a Mac, using TextWrangler that's piece of cake).
