ladykaren Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Hi all; Not sure if I'm in the right place to post this question, but here goes anyway ..... I recently purchased an SSL for my site and edited the Config files with the help of jbweber post http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=233458 ( very helpful btw ) Everything seems to be working properly, however I noticed when I log in with a dumby account on my site, the paddle lock is present but it has a red circle over it and when I run my mouse over it, it states "Warning - Contains unauthorized content" How can I fix this? Any help would be most appreciated :)
Guest Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 The problem is with the images in your ledt and right columns. They need to be stored on your site to be secure. On the left it's everything below the information box. On the right it's everything below the godaddy verified and secured image.
ladykaren Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 Thanks so much for your feedback. Really really really stupid question ..... how do I secure these images? The images are in my catalog/images folder except for a few that are link exchange codes. Help?

ladykaren Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 Yeah I get "They need to be stored on your site to be secure." but do I need to rewrite the exchange link codes that have the images being drawn from the exchange site servers?
germ Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 If you move the images to be "local" you change the code to use the "local" images - I thought that was a "given". For things you can't store locally, this code snippet will help. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. ladykaren Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 Hon ... there is no "given" when one is trying to figure out something they've never done before. But the code snippet worked. Thanks for the help
germ Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 You are most welcome gracious Lady (chivalry aint dead in my book). And I thank you as well. :) And if I might add one thing, Dear, you should look at your site using IE. Something is amiss with your link to FloridaWeddinglink.com In IE it really "does a number" on your page format... :o If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
