Twitter says to put it in your websites source folder but i dont know what that is. <a href="http://www.twitter.com/Royal_Access" title="Follow us on Twitter"><img src="http://s.twimg.com/a/1278021155/images/business/follow/follow_twitter_button_a.png" alt="Follow us on Twitter" /></a> I dont really care where the badge is but I prefer it on the home page, at the top.
