Rendering issues between Firefox and IE7/8

Hi all,

I was working on the site and made some changes but forgot to test them against IE8 prior to installing.

They aren't major, but I can't seem to figure out what is causing IE8 problems. The new product image doesn't display

and there is a 'line' that is showing up just over the "News" text... I am using the IE developer tools plugin and

the image reference looks just fine...

Firefox happily shows the site and it looks right.

Was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I appreciate the help!

The site is www.elektrorc.com

In addition:

The 2 columns that make up the table housing the missing image are not scaling to 50% each which I can also not figure out.

The image will show up if I make the width a fixed px value and not a %.

Really has me baffled...

I know these aren't OS commerce specific questions, if there is a better site to ask these questions on, I'd appreciate the link....

Thx,

-P

If it works - run with it.

It's obvious that IE "chokes" on the picture dimensions when expressed as a %.

Browsers - Can't live with'em, can't shoot'em...

;)

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

I have to see, but I thought it did render % of some images correctly, just not sure why it doesn't here... The HTML generated by the site looks sensible...

Wish IE would just go away :)

Thx!
