Changing files on oscommerce

Hi,

 

When I've tried to change some of the text on my store today it will not save any changes. I have changed the text then I press 'save' and it just brings up a plain white page. Can anybody help me with this please?

How are you editing the file - control panel editor, through the admin, by downloading, etc.?

I'm editing the file using cPanel version of it.

Then it's a server issue and you need to contact your host.

Download them to your PC, and download some free php editor to edit any php files of osc.

I've just tried that method and it says 'Warning: readfile() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/nnsdwfol/public_html/online/admin/file_manager.php on line 77'

The file manager in oscommerce is a big security hole and shouldn't be used. You should download them as shadow007 suggested.
