Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I have a large picture on my frontpage which I update fairly regularly (you can see it at www.lobaseshoes.com if you want) and I can do one link from the picture. However, I would quite like to have different links from different parts of the picture (if you look at it you will see why). Is there any relatively straightforward way of doing this within CMS which doesn't need me to have lots of separate pictures?
Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I think the only way to really get what you want to accomplish there is to use an image splitter (slices) such as with Adobe Photoshop, then each slice would have its own link.

Thanks MrWebDomain. I suspected something like that was probably going to be the answer unfortunately, so I will experiment with Paint.NET and see what I can manage.
Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Partially managed but it seems to want to put a gap between my 2nd and 3rd picture, which is quite annoying. Again, any ideas would be much appreciated.
Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 In looking at your page source, the following is between the second and third image: >

Take it out and replace it with:
Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Should have looked like this:

< replace it with:
Guest Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Thanks.
made it leave a gap as well, but taking it out altogether seems to have sorted the problem, at least on my browser.
Guest Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Yes, I checked it in 3 different browsers and it looks good.
