zhoop Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 Hi! I tried to install osCommerce (Instant Merchant 2.2) software to my server. But I had problems in installation. I have created MySQL-user and MySQL-database for my onlineshop. I gave all rights to my user, but software complains that access is denied. So I can't proceed with the installation. Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 Hey, It looks like the hostname for your database is your domain URL. If you have a host like mine, you can install a database through your user control panel with just a few clicks. after doing so it will have a hostname for yout database, a name, and you would have entered a user name and password. Do some reasearch on adding a database with your host and you should see the proper information to input. I also was having this problem until I installed the database through my host.
