Background and some customisation not showing going to the product info page.

It is showing on the main page, categories, and subcategories... but when you go to then view more info re the product

the background has gone and colour customisation. The header still shows.

How do I fix this?

Check the link to the stylesheet.

It should be the same as all the pages that work.

If that aint it you'll have to give a URL (by post or PM) 'cuz it's hard to fix what you can't see....

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

I'm guessing you fixed it as I can't see anything amiss.

No I havn't fixed it...umm I wonder if it is to do with the browser.

At the catalog page >patterns and >stitcheries it is fine

Can you see the swirly background and the reddish brown page frames? I can and that is how it should be.

However if you go to the next level they do no sho on the product info page.that was the link i sent you.

ie catalog>patterns>stitcheries>angelkisses

The background is just white and the page frame for the most part has returned to the default grey?

I'm using firefox. Just tried IE and the same for me?

Would you mind taking another look?

Thanks so much for your help

When you go to catalog the main page...is the area around the page white or can you see swirls and a few leaves that all match in with the header.??

The backround behind the info is white. The frames around the boxes are reddish brown.

When you go to catalog>patterns>stitcheries>angelkisses... and click on angel kisses to see more info about the product (product info page) the background is just white and the frames have change back to the default settings.

I suppose the fact that you have a link to a stylesheet on another site thar requires a login to access isn't helping.

Other than that I don't find anything wrong.

I got brown swirlies all over all the page I've looked at.

What you mean I have link to a stylesheet on another site that requires login access isn't helping?

Sorry Jim, but I don't understand this. When do you get login acess required??

I created the background so that is not linked to a third party.

I don't get the swirly background when you open up the product info pages ie click on angel kisses to see more info. How strange is that??

In the page source on the page you sent me thie link to is this:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.quilterscabin.biz/catadmin/htmlarea/stylesheet.css" /><style type="text/css">

It pops up several times asking me for login credentials.

Thanks Jim.... darn,

I have been trying to copy and paste the product info from my old site to the new site to save a lot of work.

The old site was set up back in 2003 so was not upgradable hence had to start a fresh.

Any ideas on what I can do to copy the product info form the the old site without the login being requested.

appreciate your help here

so I'm thinking you are not able to see the product info page as access is required. I just removed the text from the product info page on Angel Kisses.. see if that allows you to now look and see the missing background?

Thanks so much for your time here Jim, will make a few changes now to try and resolve the access issue.

Could be affecting the background somehow.

Thanks Jim,

sorry for being such a novice.

Problem solved.. thank you so much. :)

Doing the copy and paste of the product info is bringing with it the styling from the old site. I can see and remove in the fckeditor. The backround now shows up correctly on all pages with no access being called for.

catalog>patterns>stitcheries>angel kisses is all good now.

Now just got to work out how to add the fckeditor to the newsletter manager. Been trying to get some help with that one too but no luck any suggestions or help you can point me too? Link attached below.
