What template do I have?

Being a total newbie to this, I've just been told that my site has a template. How can I find out what template I have and how could you tell in the first place?? I am on a massive learning curve so I appreciate your replies :) I understand from reading other threads that it's not easy to help someone with a template, so will I have to go back to the company that set the site up or is help available on here?

The way to tell if you have a template is to compare the code to the original code or there might be an attribution on the bottom of the home page.

It is not that it is not possible, just that it is more complicated.

There is nothing to stop you asking any question on this site, just remember people give their time/answers here for free.

If you want to ask for someone to do work for you that is not allowed by the forum rules but there is nothing to stop you sending anyone a personal message.

It you want some links to some good basic info try looking at my profile. I add the ones I find useful in there as I find them.

Cheers
