Just thought that the community should know that Bobby passed away last week. I dont know all of the details. Several people are using some of the contributions that were developed by Chemo (Bobby Easland). I have used Chemo to do several upgrades and he has written several custom scripts for me. He will be missed.

That is very sad news for the community. His contributions to osC helped me tremendously along with his valuable and precious time that he so generously gave. My thoughts are with him today . Tammy, I am very sorry for your loss.

Although I have never had the opportunity to correspond with Chemo, I have seen and worked with some of his contributions. My deepest sympathy to his family.

A good guy. I had my differences with him on a number of levels, but when all is said and done he did a hell of a lot for this and other communities. If it wasn't for Bobby, osCommerce would not be where it is now. RIP & YNWA Bobby.

Vey sad news and to lose a guy so young is hideous. I know how that feels. My sympathies go to his family at this very difficult time. Thanks Bobby for all the help you provided to this community. Maybe Harold you will put your differences aside and send some flowers to Bobby and maybe a contribution to the fund for bobbys illness that took his life?

This is really sad news to hear.

I've used quite some of the contributions that Bobby made; his work improved the quality in major steps; Thanks for that!

Maybe strange question but has this news be confimed by anyone?

Sad news indeed.

I doubt oscommerce would be where it is today without his hard work. He raised the bar with his great contributions. He was a good guy too, he spent hours helping me with my first store some years ago.

He will be missed! Prayers for his family

RIP Bobby.

Sad to see a person die so young in life. We will remember you though your work, which still stands out as leading edge for osC developments.

I found out through Gary's site back in June. Very sad indeed. It is nice to see the community come together to pay him respects.
