parma Posted June 22, 2010 Share Posted June 22, 2010 Hi, I have been using OSC 2 for quite a while now, its time for my website for an update. Thing is I'm not sure whether to use the latest version of OSC 2 or wait for v3. Originally I was going to use Magento however, the performance is poor!!! I still like that system but thought I would stick to what I know. I have looked in several places for release dates however, not much luck. eCommerce Developer Posted June 22, 2010 Share Posted June 22, 2010 I want to use OsC 3 version. The main issue is that not all OsC 2 modules work with it yet. As for Magneto, this systems is rather heavy. And design customizations are too difficult in Magento. I personally use Avactis shopping cart for commercial products. (Its possible to use it but then you should know PHP coding quite well and be prepared to do quite a bit of upgrades along the way as it matures) So for most its best to stick with 2.2 for now.
