PaddyRichards Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Hi There I have recently completed my site. www.igateink.ie . My product listing is fairly basic (see www.igateink.ie/index.php/cPath/29_5 and I wanted to change to this sites layout: www.cfbsupplies.co.uk/hewlett-packard-2793/hp-ink-cartridges-30/hp-deskjet-1220ps-2113/ This is an Oscommerce add-on. Can anyone tell me which addon this is. Thanks
♥14steve14 Posted June 19, 2010 Posted June 19, 2010 Try searching the add ons for graphical borders. Just out of curiosity why are you trying to copy another site, when you could make your site look different and so much better. REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
PaddyRichards Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 Thanks for the reply. I wanted to acheive the layout of the products. i.e. Image and then the attributed underneath each other. And then when you click the product it brings you to the product page with a far superior layout with tabs etc. Paddy Try searching the add ons for graphical borders. Just out of curiosity why are you trying to copy another site, when you could make your site look different and so much better.
PaddyRichards Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 Is that a good thing or a bad thing???? :) On a side note holy Number #10 pricing.
NodsDorf Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 I'm not familiar with the prices in Europe, however I do have a good friend that uses an HP LazerJet 2000c. He has what we refer to as an ink vault. He's was buying and selling #10 inks for about 5 years. Until recently he was able to buy low sell high, now the price on #10 is so low he no longer bothers selling. Looking just at eBay he has been able to buy #10 Ink so cheap that the seller pays him to take it. (Example $0.99 with free shipping). I suppose not everybody knows you can swap an empty 2010/2011 chip to a older ink to bypass the printer errors, or how you can set your clock back to circumvent the printer's annoying "ink expired" warning. That said he never pays over $10.00 for a non-expired cartridge. Of course like everything if you're buying from a wholesaler who buys from HP then you're required to sell at a certain price and probably paying more then those who sell on eBay. I have the same problem with computer software. There are just some people who don't care where it comes from only price. So I'm not trying to cast stones. It just struck me that shops are still asking that kind of money for those inks.
