I was creating a site in a directory and loaded it with all my products, now I just moved it to the root of my server and re-installed the cart and imported my database but now all my products still point to the directory I originally installed them in , my guess is it something in the database but I don't where to change it so it points to the root, I can get around my php admin but I don't what I would need to change and where can anyone PLEASE help me please!!!

I need to go live!!!

Thank you

Hi,

You need to set the right paths in includes/configure.php and admin/includes configure.php to ensure they point to your site and the new location of the database.

Thanks

Thank you so much I just did that and now it works great but my product description text is all mushed together, I know that's somewhere in the style sheet I have it open but don't where to space the text so their not on top of each other! THANK YOU SO MUCH you are a life saver!!!

Its a steep learning curve - but slowly (very slowly in my case) you start to understand.

One thing that I would stress - is that your site is live - have you done ALL of the security fixes? if not then put a couple of days aside and do them - or you WILL get hacked eventually.

Thanks
