geekgirl Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 The error says: Credit Card Error The card entered is being declined. This most often is due to incorrectly entered information. Please try re-entering your information. I have no idea what to do.... please help!
germ Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 If your site processes or stores CC info you'd better be PCI Compliant ( <= it's a link, click it to read more). If you violate the PCI mandates and are caught fines can run in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and you can be banned from getting a merchant account for life... Not to mention legal action from customers whose card information was compromised. So.. If you're NOT PCI compliant - I suggest you rethink what's going on... If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. geekgirl Posted June 10, 2010 Author Posted June 10, 2010 Yes we are definitely PCI compliant. The store was working the other day when i checked it with my own credit card, but today the programming company made changes to make the checkout without account work and somehow made this credit card error.
Mark Evans Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 If a company which you paid to make a change have broken something, I would suggest telling them to get it fixed ASAP.
