bqa66
I just want to disable "parcel post" and "fist class" from displaying as a shipping option. I tried installing USPS methods 2.4 and I just kept getting a blank page on checkout. The original USPS is working fine otherwise (except the "parcel post" price is wrong). I'm testing MS1. There is a usps insurance contribution that only displays Priority and Express mail, I would use it but it wouldn't work, it gets the correct prices from USPS but it gets stuck on the checkout_shipping.php page, looks like it's not compatible with MS1. What I need on this shop I'm doing for a friend it's USPS Priority and Express mail with insurance only, (with option for cod), he wants to sell error coins... I got the COD mod to work after fixing it but I'm stuck with the insurance and priority and express only shipping option. I'm new at oscommerce, any help will be greatly appreciated. zzfritz
USPS Methods will do exactly what you want, and is working for me and many others. Make sure you followed its installation instructions carefully, and if you need help more help describe what you did and the result very clearly so we can visualize it. bqa66
Backed up files and database. I installed USPS methods by replacing the files with the ones on the contribution, I did not rename the older files just replaced them, I disabled USPS before uploading to server, uploaded files (FTP). Server Info: FreeBSD 4.6-STABLE, Apache/1.3.27, PHP/4.3.0 mod_gzip/1.3.19.1a. I'm using beyond compare to keep track of changes using two local folders, then I upload using FTP. Went to admin, enabled USPS, configured it. Went to catalog, loged in, added something to cart, hit checkout, browser stalls, if I wait it out I eventually get a blank page. I disabled USPS and enabled UPS, it worked. I disabled USPS, put original files back, enabled it, it worked. I have not added any other shipping modules that do not come with the default install of oscommerce. I'm I installing it wrong? Did I have to modify any of the files? Thanks for the help. I'm the original author of USPS Methods(Fritz has been a big help and spent a LOT of time on it, though) and the contrib was developed on a sytem almost itentical to yours (FBSD & Apache). Let's see if we can figure out what's going on... First things first, though. Do you get any errors in your apache logs?

BradWaite
Hi Brad,How do you remove Parcel Post from the list of options for the customer to choose? Thanks! Bobby Bobby, You _should_ be able to simply uncheck the Parcel Post box in admin - assuming you've installed the latest version of USPS Methods.
