dan@swift Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 What a long week! Anyhow, last week, my host moved me to a new server, global_registers off, php5 etc... which required me to upgrade to RC2a. After a few long nights of comparing codes, upgrading files, and searching out what's relevant to the upgrade, and what the add-on's were, the site is up and running again!! The only problem I'm having now, is a message at the top of my site "STS was designed to work with OSC version [osCommerce 2.2-MS2]. This is version [osCommerce Online Merchant v2.2 RC2a]. " that show up for everyone. How can I get rid of this message? I see that there are newer versions of the STS out there, but I don't want to do anymore upgrades until this weekend just in case something screws up. It took me 3-4 days to fix (upgrade) which is a considerable loss of money from online orders, so is there just somewhere that I can get rid of the error message for now? Dan Quote
dan@swift Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 Most of the site was designed around the STS Templates, several pages, until I'm more comfortable about just the OSCommerce designing, I'll have to keep the STS. Quote
dan@swift Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 There's gotta be a way to just delete that message, I just have no idea where it's at, any clues? Quote
dan@swift Posted June 7, 2010 Author Posted June 7, 2010 Okay, found it in STS_display_output and just changed the required block to match the current OCS Version. Not sure if that's the right way to do it, I'm sure upgrading to a more suitable STS version is the more correct way, but it got rid of the message at the top, so it'll work for now I guess. Any downsides to doing it this way? Quote
