Adding Items to Customers Cart - How To?

Hi,

Im trying to set up a system where I can take deposits as follows:

Add a product called DEPOSIT that the customer can select, checkout and get confirmation.

THEN when the item is ready I would like to use manual order editor to create an invoice for the balance.

The above 2 steps are fine with OSC as it stands..

But I would like the items on the invoice made with order editor to be placed in the customers cart, so when he logs in he can go to checkout and pay for them.

Is this possible??

Thanks

Ok, I think I know a way now - Use the master password contribution, log in as the customer, fill his cart, amend the order price using order editor, then notify the customer to login and checkout.

Sounds great, but just one problem, I have Sams anti hacker mods installed which I think stops the master password function :-(

Thanks

OK Sorted it.

Sky_Diver made a post in Sams anti hacker account mods support thread about how to integrate with master password - works great now.

Thanks

Hi. Where can I find the support thread for the "master password" contribution?

I do not know how to run an sql into my database. I tried.. but I must be missing something... and the steps in the install file do not really indicate how to do this.

The install file indicates:

-------------

| RUN THE SQL |

-------------

INSERT INTO configuration (configuration_id, configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function) VALUES ('188', 'Master Password', 'MASTER_PASS', 'yourpassword', 'This password will allow you to login to any customers account.', 1, 23, '2004-06-15 07:10:52', '2004-06-15 07:10:52', NULL, NULL);

I'm using myphpadmin. And really have no clue how to set this up.

Thanks a bunch for any help.
