Parthenia Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 When I am adding a new product to my site, the form comes up and everything is fine until I get down to loading photos. In Firefox, there are no image or photo buttons to click and bring up the image loader. So I can only list my products by using IE which is a pain as it is slower. I just loaded Google Chrome to see if it would let me...and, no, it is just like Firefox. Is there an addon or something I need to check to get Firefox to let me add photos to my listings? Thanks, Patty http://www.pattyscollectibles-antiques.com

Thanks, Patty http://www.pattyscollectibles-antiques.com Hi, Not sure if I understand you correctly but maybe you have the html editor installed (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1279) which only works in internet explorer I would suggest changing to fck editor(http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2900) or ck editor(http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,7112) which works in all browsers!! There are many image contributions available which help to display the images more attractively such as (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1642) or(http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6167) which I personaly like but also many more. You should always have the option in a standard osc install to upload images cross browser so if you do not see this in admin guess you may have a bug in your admin/categories.php file !!! To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.
