Alternative items?

Somethimes items are out of stock or removed from the shop. If a customer then try to search for the items model number, they dont find the item they are looking for. Is there posible to add the old model number to a new product as a second model number?

 

Like this:

Copy paper 1 (Model number 220022)

Cupy paper 2 (Model number 220023) (Keyword: 220022)

 

So if someone search for 220022 they get both Copy papers. In this way i can add "keyword" to new products who is replacing old ones.
