Problems with step 3.2

When I put in the definitions I am putting them in at the end of the stock string of code and I keep getting the code appearing above my logo in my store and then sometimes my stores home page won't even appear. The instructions are vague and don't mention anywhere to put the code in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After the ?> at the end of the file? Put them before that marker.

So I should put them before the ?> and u think that might be my problem I am trying to install the definitions in super download shop for OsCommerce ms202

I am trying to get past step 3.2 in super download shop version 1.1 for three days now and everything that I try to do does not work, I am not a total idiot I can cut and paste but I have no clue as to where in the following files

catalog/includes/database_tables.php

 

catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

 

catalog/admin/include/database_tables.php

 

catalog/admin/includes/languages/english/product_attributes.php

 

I keep getting code in all the wrong places either on top of my logo in my catalog page or I get code on the catalog page and that is it the log and the rest of the pager does not even appear.

 

Can someone possibly paste a rerply as to wher the code is pasted in tthe above files all I need is where it starts like the line before and the first line of the new definition so that I can post it there.
