On specials, I want to add under Product Name, the Model. I know that I must edit this line of code:

In the place where I need the model I wrote HERE_I_NEED_TO_HAVE_MODEL

But, I don't know how to get product's model. I guess I have to define a variable which will contain some query result from database, from where to extract what I need. But as I have no knowledge of php, just what I figured out while installing some add-ons, it's impossible for me to make it happen.

 

Please help me changing the code.

In catalog/special.php

I have never used Featured Products, but my guess is that you would need to do almost the same changes...

 

Find the db query line and add: p.products_model,

 

then find the line that produces the products name and add $product_info['products_model']

 

If you have any trouble, post the code here and I will look at it for you.

Well, I did not asked for help, before trying by myself :D I thought I found the query and the part of code which writes product name, but I guess I was wrong...as nothing happened. Not even something bad.

Here is the original code from catalog/featured_products.php in think just this one must be modified, but I am not sure

Sorry, I submitted the wrong file... Now if it did not worked for you neither I was convinced that is the wrong one :D

 

The good one is includes/modules/featured.php

And I figured out how to modify it, indeed is like the first one.

 

If anybody wants to do this, now yow know how ! :D
