How do I get rid of the heading and the welcome text. I tried to remove it from default.php but that didn't work. What's New Here? Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? While were on this page, could someone help me remove the new products for the month feature at the bottom or maybe change it to random products as I will not be having many new products. I understand how to remove the above text. It is the header and welcome message that refuses to go away. I can't seem to find it in default.php. The answer to your question is "What's new here?" can be deleted or changed in /catalog/includes/languages/english/default.php. "Welcome Guest etc." can be found in /catalog/includes/languages/english.php near the bottom. A fast way to find text is to use the search function . Both Win and Linux have it. Set it to search all file for a text string, like "what's new here". That'll tell you which file it's in. Except in the example I just gave. If a word has an apostrophe like "what's" it'll be written in the cod as "what/'s new here". Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
