How to set Currency message?

Hi,

Just need a little pointing in the right direction as I cant find a contribution that does what I want.

All I want to do is add a message across top of site when someone changes the currency to other than the default currency.

i.e. something along the lines of:

The EUR prices displayed are a guide price using an exchange rate of 1 GBP = 1.147 EUR. Your credit/debit card will be charged in GBP.

I just want it to be a big bar right across the very top of the site.

Obviously its just going to get the name of currency/exchange rates from the database.

If what I'm aiming to do is a step too far for my coding skills I'd be happy for it just to say

The prices displayed are a guide price. Your credit/debit card will be charged in GBP.

Any ideas on how to do this/where the best place to put this should be?

Our currency options are a drop down box in our header.

Thanks

Dean
