New Products for Month Box

I would like my New Products Box to rotate products from my catalog.

 

Anyone know how to get it to do this?

I tried that one but did not like it because it randomized the categories pages products box with all products and I just want those to be randomized with products from that category.

 

So.

I just installed this one http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7205

 

It works for the main page, it does randomize the products on the main page but something is wrong with the code to randomize the categories page products box.

 

This step here causes an error on the categories product box

 

(3) find just next line too:

 

"' and p.products_status = '1' and p.products_id

 

replace it with:

 

"' and p.products_status = '1' order by rand() limit

 

I just need to fix this now and it will do what I want.

 

Any suggestions?
