jinlu
If my store only sale to US customer, how do you block international customer to check out? Thanks for your help!
Ajeh
Make it so they cannot create an account ... No account no check out ... Then add a statement US Sales Only to be polite. :D
floridagal
I've got a similar question - been muddling various ideas around but not sure what would be the ideal way to approach this.... I'm working on this for a store that sells flowers, so most deliveries are made to a *different* address than the purchaser... I need to restrict ONLY the delivery to US addresses only (specifically, the 48 continental states) The customer himself can live anywhere - but the product can only be delivered within the continental US -- i.e. James in England can sign up for an account & send his sister in Kansas a bouquet - but he *cannot* send flowers to his aunt in Scotland...(poor aunt! ) Any suggestions on where I should start w/ this? ashlyn
I've set my cart to only have country UK showing and selectable, and zones within the UK (scotland, wales, northern ireland, england), so if someone signs up from USA, tough luck! I was too lazy to delete all the countries one by one in admin, so did it through phpmyadmin in the sql database. Much faster.. Just a thought, it might work for you.. ------------------------------------------------------- I used to be insane, but now I'm just nuts ;)
