Catalog Pages Are Very Slow

Hello to all,

This is my first posting in a really long time. I own and operate a osCommerece online store that has been great and problem-free up to a week ago. One of my customers pointed out to me that our ordering process is really long. Once you try to get into the ordering process the pages take a looooooong time to load. That was not the case before. My question to the forum is how can I speed up the loading of my pages? Any suggestions as to what may have caused this sluggishness are also greatly appreciated.
