johanv
Hi All, I have been trying to configure my website in the site search functionality of Google Analytics. Thus far I have been unsuccessful. My configuration is as follows: 1 - Do Track Site Search 2 - Query Parameter (required): = keywords 3 - No, do not strip query parameters out of URL So I ask friends to search on my site, they do and select a product. I see within the Google Analytics site that the user did go to the advanced search php page. But no results are displayed. Secondly when I change #2 to osCsid then I get results but it is only the session ID. Has anyone using OSC 2.2 RC1 configured this properly? If so please let me in on the secret ;) Jonathon
johanv
I found the solution, at least I think I did. In the advanced_search_result.php I inserted this code: pageTracker._trackPageview(‘/site search/&keywords=%searchterm’) Between: <!-- body_eof //--> & <!-- footer //--> I hope this helps people who had/having the same problem.
