UPS with Different warehouse

Hi All,

 

I have recently integrated UPS XML shipping module for my customer website.

 

My customer has requested for an option, he has two warehouse one in US and other in Canada.

 

If customer places an order from each location whether the UPS software will be able to calculate the shipment from the correct location? So that the customer need to pay only the minimal amount.

 

But When I configured the UPS XML shipping module we are setting up the shipping Origin, state, city and Zipcode.

 

Please advice me if you have any solutions to solve this.

The Closest Shipper Addon will calculate the location closest to the customer and quote shipping from that point. However, it does not account for the Customs fee that UPS adds to shipment crossing the border. It might be better to just create a second UPS module and set up Zones for each one.

As Jim suggested, I too recommend creating two modules of UPS one applicable to canada and another applicable to US.
