Uploading to FTP

Hi,

 

I need some help. I don't know a whole lot about running a site, however I do know enough. So that is why this question might seem strange. I am getting tired of adding products to my website one by one. I want to use the FTP on my hosts site but I have no spreadsheet. I know an excel sheet exsits someplace with the template on it. Can someone please tell me where it is located before I go nuts. Thanks Randy

It will need installed, but allows you to generate CSV files that are editable via Excel. You can import, and export them.

A CSV (comma-separated values) file does not require a spreadsheet (Excel or otherwise, such as OpenOffice Calc). You can create one by hand with an ordinary editor (such as Notepad) or a custom-written program. Spreadsheets can also be used to write out (or read in) CSV files, if you happen to already have your product data in such a form.
