FedEx...Please help

The cvs module for FedEx should have been removed so people don't waste their time, as it was recognized to be broken months ago. Search the forum and see. As with USPS and UPS, FedEx has a new API that requires development of an SSL-capable module for osC. The core developers, bless them for everything else, do not consider these to be priorities.

But this thread suggests someone is making progress on a contribution:

I have found a contribution that supports fedex, but only by US Zones. This will be sufficient for my needs. However some additional software is required.

Does anyone know where I can access a copy of pdftotext software?

Thanks

I have a Fedex module that works with Fedex officially supported rating services. Please email me if you want a copy, have to only update the doc before making a contrib.

I am also looking for a solution for FedEX. I just got my account and I thought for sure there would have been a contribution for FedEX. I am using a contribution from July 02, with the older checkout, is this a problem? I am also in the market for a solution for updating to the checkout with out completely rebuilding my site. Sorry to mix topics but they seem to be going hand and hand.

Anyway I too would be interested in the solution mentioned above that ties into FedEX's servers. Any help is greatly appreciated.
