peel1ng
When anyone tried to open my website/e-store, this is what they get - Index of / * _vti_bin/ * _vti_inf.html * catalog/ * cgi-bin/ * css/ * imagesold/ * img/ * indexold.php * justhost.swf * postinfo.html * sIFR-print.css * sIFR-screen.css * sifr-addons.js * sifr.js Only by clicking "catalog" that they get to the homepage. Why does this happen? Is it becoz I install oscommerce under "catalog" folder? How best should I install it? I haven't done much on my website, so I'm happy to re-install if this is the best and easiest option to get it right. Thanks for the help! It's been a very slow process for me. I've lost lots of hair, but I am getting there slowly and learning heaps on the way!
Guest
Nan, You COULD delete that installation and move it to the root directory OR You COULD use .htaccess to rewrite the URL to the Catalog Folder OR You COULD point your domain name to the correct path All of the above will work. Collines
By far the easiest would be to go to the control panel of your hosting company and point the domain to the catalog folder.
