Product Images not showing up in my cart?

Guest

Recommended Posts

Hello, can anybody please HELP me - I am new to this and am running OSv2.2RC2 and I can't seem to get my product images to upload correctly to my site.

When I go to add a new product in my shopping cart it uploads the image o.k. as I am told it was successful then in the preview it appears there fine but when I go to view the site it starts to load the image and then it crashes showing an empty image box with the crashed icon in the top left hand corner.

The funny thing is - it all worked fine a 10 days ago. If I try to upload an image that has been successfully uploaded in the past it still doesn't work. I have checked my images and they are fine 120px x 120px GIF files. I have read many forums but nothing semms to help to date.

I have not changed any of the code that I am aware of so this is rather strange.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Jerome

Hard to hazard a guess without your URL.

Images not displaying is a symptom of a recent hack.

The broken image links I tried are because the files aren't on the server.

The broken image links I tried are because the files aren't on the server.

The admin of site tells me that the images were uploaded successfully and I previewed them before updating and yet they are not there? It once worked fine so what have I done or doing wrong?

Hello - I have tried all the suggestions in the SSL Implementation Help link and made all the changes to my:

configure.php

application_top.php

the problem is there. It seems that the images are still not being uploaded to the server - Confused - as this was never a problem before it uploaded images fine 10 days ago. Any other suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

Hello - I'm a newby at all this and will try my best to be as clear as possible on my latest findings - Germ is correct and the files are not being saved to the server, so I did a test and manually uploaded a file to the /public_html/catalogue/images via my Just Host CPanel and that worked fine - so it seems that the problem is uploading images using the OS Commerce admin and edit functions.

The OsCommerce admin also tells me that the file transfer was successful and can be previewed and looks fine. It is when I press update - that nothing actually happens and the image appears in the cart as broken haviing not been uploaded correctly.

Does anyone know of this problem and how to fix it. Whilst uploading manually through my CPanel seems to work it is a band aid solution that worries me.

A big thank you in advance to anyone who can assist.

Regards
