Configuration after migration help

Hi Guys,

I just got finished migrating a site to a new host. But when I click on any of the database driven pages I get the "oops this page cannot be found" message. The new hosting is with godaddy, I have uploaded all the site files, imported the SQL file, same database name. The index page and a few other pages load alright. What am I missing??

Hi,

Thanks so much for your links. You have a welth of information here.

I have configured the two php files but have a little question.

This is the part of the includes/configure.php file that is giving me some trouble. First I should tell you that this is a very old version of oscommerce (2.2-MS2). What specifically do I need to change here. This site was on a dedicated server and has now been moved to a shared hosting account.

define('DIR_WS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', dirname($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['SCRIPT_FILENAME']));

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG);

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'images/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');

define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');

define('DIR_FS_UPLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . DIR_WS_UPLOADS);

Any ideas? I sincerely appreciate your assistance.

Thanks for the input, but I have looked through it and do not see this reference

includes/configure.php

define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', dirname($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['SCRIPT_FILENAME']));

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG);

I'm wondering if I have to change these. The site was on a dedicated server before the move. Does this line

($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['SCRIPT_FILENAME']));

have anything to do with the old dedicated server and should this now reflect the new shared hosting and should it be the absolute path?
