stevereece
I just moved www.resellcnc.com from a godaddy shared hosting account to a dedicated server. The site worked great on the shared server. I've have been going thru a host of problems on the dedicated server. For some reason, when you click on a category, it returns to index.php (set as default for a page not found). I can create a new category and it shows up, but still the same results. The address is correct but the page is not. If you go to a product_info page, it shows as a "product not found". Again the address is correct. I've done extensive research on this issue but so far no luck with a fix. Any ideas?
FIMBLE
do you have any htaccess redirect in place? say if your old store was located in catalog but the new is located in root, the link will try to search for the catalog folder, SEO add ons do this so its worth a check. Also make sure that in your admin / configuration / my store ... use search engine safe urls (still under develoment) is set to false. stevereece
I wish it were that easy. I have no redirect in the .htaccess. search engine safe is set to false. I also didn't mention that I now don't have to login to access the admin area.
FIMBLE
make sure that all the files were uploaded when you reinstalled then, it might be some files were corrupted during the install. With the problems you have its possible that the site did not upload correctly Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
