jawks Posted May 10, 2010 Share Posted May 10, 2010 Hi everyone, I've been searching for a very specific contribution in the Contributions Oscommerce page but didn't found what I was looking for. Note that I've disabled the quantity information on the product listing. Basically, what I need is that when you are in the shopping cart and you type a quantity in the "Quantity" field box and you then click on "Update shopping cart" the system checks the stock, and if the stock is not enough then a message like this appears: "Sorry, we only have 14 units in stock of this product. If you wanted something better, you could probably create a piece of javascript to check the available amount, and if the items that they are trying to buy is greater than, then show a message and default to the largest available amount.
