Two VAT-rates on invoice

Dear forum members,

I tried to find out a solution for my problem on the Dutch forum, but onfortunately I got no replies, I hope someone here can help me.

My financial adviser wants the gross income of our shop to be split between the 2 used VAT-rates. My shop uses 2 rates: 6% and 19%. If I print the invoices for the administration, they are split out in a correct way, like this:

Sub-Totaal: €1.883,00

Verzend- en administratiekosten (NL en B): €0,00

BTW 6%: €111,24

BTW 19%: €5,51

Totaal: €1.999,75

Problem is, that the amounts over which these VAT rates are being calculated are not shown on the invoice. Therefore, my accountant prints the orders, but has to manually calculate the 6% and 19% gross income.

I think there has to be a way to mention these amounts. For instance, if yoe see that the VAT of 6% will be € 111,24, you can calculate the desired amount: € 111,24 / 1,06. And, for the 19% Vat: € 5,51 / 1,19.

Can someone help me how to integrate these small calculations on my invoice.php?

Thank you very much!

Usually, the tax is calculated from the Sub-Total but I cannot see what number your taxes are based on. But, I'm not in Europe so do not understand how things are done there..

Your taxes do not seem to be calculated off the sub-total. What are they based on?

I assume you are using a separate tax for each product. and then creating those lines by grouping products by tax rate.

You could do one thing.. if you check the orders_total table, you might be able to view the order line class. Then change the invoice.php file to check for the ot_class and do the calculation as you have mentioned.
