Help Please! Manufacturers/Categories Drop Down Problem

Hi All

 

I would like to use the Manufacturers Drop-Down box. However it does not work for my site. ie The dropdown list of Manufacturers shows ok but, when one is selected, it reverts straight back to the /index.php - not to the product from that manufacturer.

 

When the Manufacturers/Categories are set to show as an ordinary static list it works fine with no problems.

 

Using Xammp on a PC the drop down also works fine so I am guessing that there needs to be some server configuration to be done.

 

The only difference showing in server_info.php is that virtual directory support is enabled in Xampp (Windows XP) but not on the Godaddy server (Linux) which, as far as I know, is correct.

 

I have SEO URL's installed so could this be causing rewrite problems???

 

Does any body have any ideas about this???
