percentage price breaks. easiest way?

Hi,

 

I would like to add a table on product description showing quantity price breaks for products. e.g 1 off, 5 off, & 20 off, etc.

 

The issue I fear I face is, the way I wish to offer these discounts. I would like to provide percentage discounts, rather than manage each product 1 by 1. for example. I would like the 1 off to be the standard price that I upload via easy populate, then 5 off to be a 2% discount & 20 off to be a 5% discount etc.

 

It would be amazing for these price breaks to be enforced by the shopping cart and perhaps showing the saving in the form of the discount of the final order confirmation page during checkout (that bit is not essentail.)

 

I have looked at the contribs that exist, I am confident they will do the job but not sure if they support a global price break for quantity/percentage.

 

Does that make sense?
