surfalot
All sorted worked it out for myself. "for myself" would be the key. If there is something you did that you would like to share with the rest of us, that is what this forum is all about. That would be a forum "user". You can transform yourself into a "contributor" by offering your solution to the rest of us that may be looking to do the same. But thanks for letting us know you aren't in need any longer. godino1
When i said all sorted I didn't say that I had installed lightbox. I at the end gave up and used a different add on.

godino1
If you say so??? There was no point saying anything if it was nothing to do about this thread or contribution. This way there is no confussion. So I believe I did the right thing and thats the main thing :D

So I believe I did the right thing and thats the main thing :D Clearly the problem was in how the three of us interpreted your words. "All sorted worked it out for myself." Doesn't sound to me like you removed this contribution and tried something else. Sounds to me like you finish what you were asking for yourself and was being selfish and not sharing. I've helped in the past and I've contributed. based on the original comment, what I said was correct. You are a good person and we are trolls for thinking that someone who has "worked it out" might consider sharing what was worked out. :P
JSR
I've installed this contribution a while ago and now I'm trying desperately to get a mouseover/rollover image swap to work on additional images. From what I've read it seems that this contribution already has the ability to do this but the image swapping feature has never worked in my store. I've compared the code I have and it's very different from the last update in the contribution area. I'd like to get the image swap feature but I don't want to mess with my store and lose data of previously uploaded prod images. Can anyone help me? Cause I need to know which parts of the code controls the swap feature.
surfalot
What version do you have now?
JSR
Hello surfalot, I think I have version 1.1.5. Thanks for replying.
surfalot
My guess is you have a javascript error somewhere on the page. make sure the setting in your admin > Configuration > Additional Images > Product Info: Product Image Behavior is set to product_info. Then use Internet Explorer and go to the page with at least 2 images, if the rollover doesn't work look for the yellow triangle in the browser's status bar. If you see one, double click and it should tell you what the error is on the page. Firefox has an error facility also. If there is no error, double check that you have copied over the changes to the product_info.php <head></head> area of the page.
JSR
I made a backup of my files and database and I'm currently reinstalling/upgrading to version 2.1.1. I think I'll have to upload all my images for products again, because this version seems to handle additional images very differently from the one I had installed. I had a file for add images in includes/modules that's not being used anymore. When I choose product_info /instead of popup as image behavior there the add. images become invisible. surfalot
make sure Popup: Show Thumbnail Menu is true and Product Info: Group parent with sub-images is false If the image block doesn't show then, recheck the inserted code in the body of the product_info.php. then follow the previous instructions if the mouse ofer doesn't work. you won't need to reupload any images, I thought of that. To assist folks that have installed it after setting up shop, there is a utility in you admin > Catalog > Additional Images. There are 2 utilities on that page, the bottom or "Unprocessed Product Images" utility is for processing existing images into 3 sizes. The top utility is used to reprocess image that AI has already done before. You would use this one if you have uploaded new images (with the same names as the old ones) and need to update all the image sizes. Or if you change the image sizes in the Admin > Configfuration > Images, then you need to rerun the utility (top one) to actually get the images resized. Don't forget to set those images sizes before running the utility the first time.
JSR
Has the database structure for add.images changed much since version 1.1.5? I can't delete add. images that were already there, nor can I add new add.images. The page just refreshes. I'll have to delete them from the database. Or should I just drop the table and the config table inserts and reinstall?

BTW I did check the sql file for changes, but overall it seemed to be the same as the first install. I guess I missed the changes regarding values inserted in de config table of the database. I'm on it now. Thanks for helping me out!

Thanks for helping me out! in firefox or IE you can right click the image with a red x, select view image and take note of the image's path in the address bar. look for missing or doubled slashes in the path and verify the image exists at that path on your server. may be a path config problem in the /includes/confgure.php file

zozzoozzz
THANKS FOR THIS GREAT ADD-ON! When I go to the New Products (products_new.php). I have a Problem here: While I move the mouse to the product thumbnail image , a words line appear above the image: for example: when i move the mouse to my product "ABC" in general the word "ABC" with a yellow background will appears . But in my store , the word appears as : ABC <img src= \includes\languages\english\images\buttons\icon_newarrival.gif border="0" alt= "new: ABC" title ="new : ABC" width="13" height="14"> BUT move mouse to the store's original image, this problem don't appear. I have installed the New_Products_Icon_1.4 ADD-ON. and integrated some code in products_new.php as below in products_new.php: $products_new_query_raw = "select p.products_id, pd.products_name,pd.short_desc, p.products_image, p.products_price, p.products_tax_class_id, p.products_date_added, m.manufacturers_name from " .
