JoeWoodworker
I noticed that users with screen resolutions at 800 x 600 have to side scroll to see the full page on my catalog. Anyone have any ideas why this happens? I havent change the cart width from the stock "100%". Thanks Joe www.joewoodworker.com/catalog Evil will always triumph over good... Guest
http://joewoodworker.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=37 Joe, I checked it in NS and IE. It happened on this page. The reason it is happening here is your total width (both columns plus the info plus the picture widths plus the spacing) is more than 800 pixels. It may also happen on the My Account area where there are the four buttons accross the bottom. I learned this from Linda...The width attribute is a MINIMUM width and will expand to be big enough to hold all of your elements. It isn't a container tht will smoosh things to keep them the right size. I would make the maximum width on your thumbnails a bit smaller and check the width of the buttons. toolcrazy
Did you fix it? It seems fine to me. I have 800x600 on a 14" screen and no scroll. If you run into this again, it is caused by images being too big or too wide. Steve -------------------------
toolcrazy
Darn, I hate it when I don't refresh after customers come in. Steve -------------------------
JoeWoodworker
Thanks for the reply Kim. And helloooo to Steve. I tried resizing the thumbnails to 70 but then the images get too jaggity. Instead, I resized the box width to 130 instead of 145. That seemed to fix it. I just have to change my box categories names and subnames to fit inside of 130px so they dont wrap. Thanks again Joe (I actually have had a few sales since Tuesday! Woohoo!)
