Setup Fee addition per Product Type (not per product)

I found a contribution that does exactly what I need but it is from 2005 and dated and not compatible anymore

Essentially I need the ability to add an extra service fee per product. I do not want it to be per item purchased though. so if someone bought 100 of something and I wanted a minimum service fee of $5. I would like that to only apply once to those 100 items.

 

I would have various services fees per product type. so on the same order someone could by 400 of something else with a service fee of $10.

 

I am really surprised how hard this has been to find.
